In-Text affiliate marketing for ARTICLE DIRECTORIES

InTextPortal is a web service intended for webmasters who promote many affiliate programs via their own network of websites. It allows you to place in real time in-text links on any webpage that contains specific keywords. Each of such keywords will trigger a small ad with a short description and link to your sponsor. In general, it is similar to Konera, but uses your own affiliate links.

To better understand the magic of this site I will first explain you WHY I have created this service.

The Problem

My full-time business is affiliate marketing. I earn money from affiliate programs. To promote my sponsors I create niche sites where I manually place affiliate links and banners in proper places. When a site has a clear niche, it's easy to put affiliate ads on every page of a site, regardless of the static or dynamic nature of a site. Besides such ads are relevant to content of the pages.

But what to do if your site has no clearly defined theme?

Between my sites there are article directory websites. They have many different categories and each category represents different theme. All pages are dynamic and use the same template for design.

How to put my affiliate links on those pages that are relevant to the niche of my sponsor? And put nothing if page is not relevant? How to make it automatic in real time?

The Solution

I decided to create an engine that will automatically embed my own affiliate in-text links into articles on my own article directory sites.
My own sponsors - my own keywords - my own directory sites.

I need one center to control all my affiliate links all over my network of sites. I want to add any product at any time from ClickBank MarketPlace and have it immediately promoted in appropriate articles all over my article sites. If one of my sponsors would change his offer, I simply change his record on a central site and would not need to change links on my article pages.

For this purpose I have created this site.

How Does This All Work?

I start from entering each of my sponsors into the database, including affiliate link URL and list of keywords. Keywords are ordered by decreasing of relevance and increasing of broadness of theme, so the broader keyword will be the last.

I insert a small JavaScript code into template of my pages, near the very end of the page. This JavaScript and the engine of this site do all the "magic".

When visitor of a site loads a page, the system looks for my sponsors' keywords in the text of a page.

The system keeps track of all statistics, including the number of times affiliate links were impressed on pages, on which keywords, how many clicks were on that links.

For each sponsor on every single page can be only one link. That is when several sponsors have similar niches, they all will have links on a page, and each link will be from separate sponsor. This is done to make visitor's experience more pleasant.

When you roll your mouse pointer over embedded link the small pop-up window will additionally show sponsor's ad.

There are five embedded links can be shown on a page at once.

The system can embed links in any place of a page or in selected areas, by demand.

What's in it for You?

If you are a webmaster or owner of an article directory site or similar, you can use this system too for affiliate marketing on your network of sites. Enter your sponsors, select keywords, place small JavaScript code in the footer of your template, and earn affiliate money.

Search engines will not see that affiliate links as they are created with JavaScript and are not normal HTML links.

Your competitors will not be able to research your affiliate tactics because those links can not be discovered by any program.

Is it free?

Yes, in that meaning that I will not take your money. However, there are no free dinners, you know. Instead, I will show on your pages up to two of my own affiliate links besides yours, if the page would contain appropriate keywords of course. In general there will be from zero to five of your own links and from zero to two of my links on your pages.

The system now is in beta-testing mode and are very welcome to send your comments and suggestions.

The Live Example of In-Text Affiliate Links

Better once to see than.., you know. You can see how it works here. In the article text there are several of my affiliate links. Hoover you mouse on them and you will see sponsor ads.

Open the source code of the page and you will not see that links in code - they are embedded via JavaScript.
